"Revolution Starts Now"
Monday, September 28, 2009
Well here we go people. Its finally time. I have been so excited about all
the fans hearing this record. I have had an amazing week already and its not
even half over yet. Tuesday I did an ACM Honors ceremony. I sang a Merle Song
and Hank Jr. song. Blake was there too and we hung backstage with some of my all
time heroes…Patty Loveless (who I germed horribly), Vince, John Anderson,
Steve Wariner, Kenny Rogers and more. But most important….Merle himself.
I will fess up, I kissed him on the cheek....TWICE! I just couldn't help myself.
I mean, how many opportunities like that am I gonna have? There is a picture to
prove it (which I will be hanging in my house). I will post “the
kiss” as soon as I can.
Then we did the show
at the Ryman. We did the record in sequence and had great response from the
crowd. We also did some singles and a few country classics. It was so surreal
being there and standing on that stage, especially after everything on Tuesday.
Those will be nights that I never forget. EVER! Thanks to everyone who showed up
to hang out with us on such a special night. To my family and the Ran Fans,
I’m glad you guys were right up front. I love you all for it.
We will be doing a lot of stuff in the next two weeks for
the album release. GMA and Letterman on the 29th. Jimmy Fallon on
Thursday. Next week, Ellen!!!! I can’t wait. I love her show!
I hope you all enjoy the record and I can’t wait to
hear what ya think.
Don't forget, Love a
shelter pet

that is so awesome, im so ready for tomorrow, your the best singer there is these days! i recorded all your songs on hwy 16, all of your songs are incredible and blew me away! "the house that built me" is the one that touched me the most. i also recorded your interviews with lance smith and nan kelly on the countdowns. i will definately be recording your media appearances and ill be recording gac nights! tomorrow morning ill be on my way to buy it. next week, i will leave you another comment on this blog of what i think about the revolution tracks. oh, about kissing merle haggard, are people calling you an obsessed stalker? because a lot of your fans that have met you have been called stalkers. i wished i could have been at the ryman but i just couldn't afford the trip. love the songs, they are incredible, it would be awesome if this album went platinum in just a few weeks. but good luck with everything you do, and hope you release another great album in 2011.

Way to go with Merle, haha!
Seeing or recording all your appearances!
And the "Revolution" CD is undescrible! I LOVE your last two albums but if you put how good both of those CD's are it still won't get to the amount of amazing of the new album!

the words to describe the evening and haven't come off the cloud,
I've been walking on since that night!!!! Paul Whitt and I still chuckle over being referred to as "Your Hardcore Guys" as you were
leaving the after-party and giving each of us a Hug!!!
I haven't had a chance yet to get Revolution but will be going into
town real soon to pick up my copies!!!!
Great Pic of You & Merle!!!

Missed you this summer at Jones Beach NY but hope you make it back to these parts in the future.
NY loves you, Target sold out and Best Buy had only a handful.
Keep it up and do not change your goals. We want you around for another 20 years at least.
Vaya con Dios, baby!

First of all, you are awesome! You represent a country girl well, and I can relate with almost everyone of your songs. I saw you in Raleigh, NC about a month ago with Kenny and had a blast...wish you stayed longer!
ps your new CD is great, i already know every song :)
