Recently, we (moderators) have noticed many threads that have gone completely off topic, and continue to do so. After discussing how we should handle it and looking at a couple of other discussion forums, we have decided that when a thread goes off topic, we are going to give a warning and continue to monitor that thread. If the off topic posts continue after the warning, we are going to close (lock) the thread. We have too many personal discussions taking place, and we have stated many times that personal discussions should be handled via PM or e-mail, as this is not a chat room. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in this matter; please contact us with any other questions.
