I never paid much attention to Miranda Lambert before, I am not into the new mainstream "pop" country music, and think that much of this new so called country music is crap, and just assumed that she fit into this category,

but one day I was listening to the Outlaw country channel (channel 63 on sirius satellite radio) and heard her singing songs by some of my favorite songwriters, John Prine, Buddy and Julie Miller, and one of my favorite Canadians Fred Eaglesmith. I was pleasantly surprised, I always thought she was more into the pop country and not good songwriters like these.

well I have to say she has a new fan and I will have to check out more of her work, thanks Miranda and keep up the good work,

Miranda deffinetly isn't 'pop country' Once you look into more of her songs, you'll be able to see how amazing she is. She totally rocks with southern charm.
