Country Faces Cancer - A Call To Miranda Fans

As many of you know, Miranda is a huge fan of GAC’s Nan Kelley and is blessed to also call her a friend. We received the email below from her. It's time for the Ran Fans to rise up and get involved with this wonderful and worthy charity!!

Here is the email:

I'm heading up an effort called Country Faces Cancer--it supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's annual Light the Night walking event, held nationwide in 240 cities across the country. Nashville's is Oct 1. Last year GAC and the Opry both had teams and walked in my honor. And I won't ever forget it. That's how I became aware of this great organization.

We are asking that Miranda call on her fans from all around the country to walk in a city where a walk is held. Each fan fundraises on their own with their own webpage. All of this falls under the Country Faces Cancer umbrella.

Thanks for posting this! My mother just celebrated 20 years of her cancer being in remission! With this organization and others like it, we will one day find a cure! My thoughts and prayers go out to those fighting this battle. And I'll be there for the walk in West Des Moines, IA!
