Tuesday, November 10^th our Birthday girl Miranda arrived at the BMI Awards to screaming fans in a satin electric-red sheath by David Meister to pick up her award for “Gunpowder & Lead”. (Photo)

Then on Wednesday, Miranda dazzled on the red carpet in a metallic black Nicole Miller gown with Tiffany & Co. jewels. And for her performance, we decided to let the LA Times blog do the talking….

Miranda Lambert, "White Liar." Here we go. Nashville should take note: All country award shows should be opened by Lambert. Though "White Liar" isn't the most fiery song on her recent "Revolution" (Pop & Hiss was pulling for "Sin for a Sin"), there's plenty to like here. Lambert is just the right mix of sweetness and grit, pulling the song to a mischievous stop in its final moments to reveal its lyrical twist. Her band is kickin', and she's on point. A

awesome! love the pics of miranda. she is a beautiful woman. it's amazing how far she's come. that's nice she got an award for gunpowder and lead! i didnt even know about it. miranda is getting more and more liked and more fans everyday. the kenny tour this summer and doing work for her album seemed to get her a lot of attention. i hope the brad paisley tour will get her even more recognition, her days are getting better. im proud of her success.

She has a great sense of style. It rocks that she won an award for Gun Powder & Lead. She deserves it. I agree Miranda should open award shows because as far as I am concerned that is when the show starts.
